CHARLES A. LINDBERGH. TLS: "Charles". 1p, 8½x11. Scotts
Cove, Darien, Conn., 1966 June 2. To Harold L. Oram, New York. In
part: "I enclose the letter draft I mentioned by phone, and would
appreciate your comments. Before I send out another 'conservation' letter, I
would like to have a definite understanding of how replies are to be
acknowledged by WWF - the working of the acknowledgement, the follow-up
procedure, etc. I think this should be planned in detail in advance...In regard to
the brochure enclosed with letters such as this, I wonder if it should contain
some sort of WWF membership application - the five-dollar type of thing...I like
the present brochure; but when the next one is printed, I wonder if we shouldn't
place some emphasis on the blue whale - the largest animal ever to exist, and
close to extinction." The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) is a global organization
dedicated to protecting endangered species and our natural environment.
