Autograph Note signed: "Charles B. Driscoll", 1 page, 6x3½. New York, no date. On personal notecard,in full: "Sounds mighty good. Tell me, where did you get that name, Chaw? I could use that as a springboard to talk about the song." Charles B. Driscoll (1885-1951) was a prolific author and radio commentator, originally from Wichita and later moving to New York City. He wrote several books about pirates, including Doubloons: the Story of Buried Treasure (1930); as well as a family memoir, Kansas Irish (1942). Fine condition.
