Next to their signatures on a 4x6 card, Kane has drawn Robin, Lantz - Woody, and Schulz - Snoopy.
Three popular cartoon characters hand-drawn by their creators.
Original Art signed: "'Bats' Wishes,/Bob/Kane, '93" next to his drawing of Robin, "Walter Lantz" next to his drawing of Woody Woodpecker and "Schulz" next to his drawing of Snoopy, 4x6 card. BOB KANE, in cooperation with Bill Finger, created Batman and his sidekick, Robin in 1939. The 18-year-old doodler created Batman and his alter ego, Bruce Wayne, who was patterned after himself, in just one weekend. WALTER LANTZ's famous creation made his debut in an "Andy Panda" short in 1941. The last "Woody Woodpecker" cartoon was produced in 1975. The "Peanuts" gang, including the popular beagle, Snoopy, debuted on October 2, 1950; Snoopy made his first appearance two days later. Each strip was personally written, drawn, inked and lettered by creator CHARLES SCHULZ, who died on February 12, 2000, the evening before his last "Peanuts" strip appeared in the Sunday editions of newspapers. Fine condition.
