Color, 10x8. "76" refers to the year he fought in the 1976 Olympics,
representing the U.S. Charles Mooney (b.1951) won a silver medal in
the 1976 Summer Olympics, losing out to North Korea's Gu-Yong-Ju. An Army
soldier first before a boxer, Mooney dedicated his career to the U.S. Army,
serving actively for 22 years. While in service, Mooney became a 3-time All Army
Champion, 3-Time Service Champion, and medaled in the Pan Am trials and the AAU
nationals. From 1992 to 2008, Mooney operated the Charles M. Mooney Academy
of Boxing, a nonprofit organization, where he trained boxers from all over
the world. Fine condition.
