elected to Congress in fall of 1870 and re-elected in fall of 1872. Very
respectfully". Charles St. John (1818-1891), a New York merchant,
banker and internal revenue collector, served two terms in the US Congress as
a Republican (1871-1875). Toned. Creased from adhesive residue on verso.
