Inscribed Signature: "To Helen/from/Charlotte Henry", 5x4½ blue album leaf. Ink note (unknown hand): "Hollywood Blvd., Dec. 9 - 1934". Also signed on verso: "Marian Nixon". Ink note (unknown hand): "May Fair". CHARLOTTE HENRY (1914-1980) had a major Broadway role in Courage at age 15. Between 1931 and 1942, she made many films in youthful roles, including the title role in Alice in Wonderland (1933) and Little Bo Peep in Laurel and Hardy's Babes in Toyland (1934). She starred in the Frank Buck serial Jungle Menace (1937). MARIAN NIXON (1904-1983), born Maria Nissinen and sometimes billed as Marion Nixon, made her film debut in 1923 (Rosita), and she would go on to appear in over 70 films through 1936 (Tango, The Drag-Net and Captain Calamity). Her other credits include Cupid's Fireman (1923), Charlie Chan's Chance (1932) and Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm (1932). Right edge ragged from previous binding. Toned at edges. Lightly creased. Otherwise, fine condition.
