CHERYL TIEGS
She agrees to appear on NBC's Tomorrow Coast to Coast
Document signed: "Cheryl Tiegs", 2p (front and verso), 8½x11. Signed on front of p1. She signs a standard AFTRA contract for network television, agreeing to appear as "principle [sic] performer" on NBC's Tomorrow Coast to Coast, to be broadcast from New York on September 24, 1981. She is to be paid $518.75. Ink numbers (unknown hand) on p4 stipulate her compensation for successive replays and foreign broadcasts. Cheryl Tiegs was a Supermodel during the 1970s-1980s. However, it was the 1978 swimsuit issue of "Sports Illustrated" that changed her career. The now-famous photograph, which featured Tiegs in a seemingly innocent white swimsuit, epitomized her perfect combination of girl-next-door innocence and innate sexuality. The "Sports Illustrated" feature lead to a wealth of opportunities, including the cover of "Time" magazine and a $1.5 million contract with Cover Girl cosmetics. She was mentioned in the theme song of the cult-TV Classic The Fall Guy. In 2001, she appeared in the film, Intimate Portrait: Cheryl Tiegs. Binder holes at top. Light corner creases. Otherwise, fine condition.
