In full: "Thank you for taking the time to meet with me last week while I was in Dallas. I enjoyed our frank discussions very much. As a businessman, I appreciate your views because in Washington we see only the people who are not affected by the decisions we make. Please stay in touch. Sincerely". Lightly creased with folds, lower horizontal fold at the upper loops of the "C" and "h". Fine condition. Accompanied by original typed mailing envelope bearing Hecht's imprinted frank. Banker and businessman Jacob Chic Hecht (1928-2006) served in the Nevada state senate (1967-1975) before representing Nevada in the U.S. Senate as a Republican for one term (1983-1989).
