These 15 signers include the entire credited cast of the play, with the exception of understudy Joseph Hill who did not sign. Child's Play made its Broadway debut on February 17, 1970. It ran for 342 performances over just under 10 months. The plot is based at a private school where two teachers engage in a rivalry of sorts. The conflict reaches a traumatic conclusion in this dramatic production. It won five Tony Awards, three Drama Desk Awards, and one Theatre World Award. Ken Howard (1944-2016) portrayed a colleague stuck in the middle of the two feuding teachers and won a Tony Award. Fritz Weaver (1926-2016) and David Rounds (1930-1983) portrayed the two teachers; each won awards for their performances as well. Lightly toned. Otherwise, fine condition.
