The Western actor signed this black and white portrait that features him as
the character of Morrie Pell in the 1956 film Miami Exposé
Inscribed Photograph signed: "Thank you/ Dennis/ Chris Alcaide" in black ink,
b/w, 8x10. Publicity photograph for Miami Exposé, a crime film in which he
plays a contract killer. Christopher Alcaide (1923-2004) was an American actor
with over 100 movies and TV shows to his credit between 1950 and 1987.
Many of these appearances were in Westerns, with recurring appearances on
television shows like The Adventures of Kit Carson (1953-1954), Tales of the
Texas Rangers (1955-1957), Gunsmoke (1955-1961), and The Rifleman
(1959-1962). His film work includes roles in The Big Heat (1953) and
Assassination(1987). Throughout his career, he typically played a deep-voiced
bad guy. In 2003 he was among the recipients at the 21st annual Golden Boot
Awards for his extensive work in Western films. Fine condition.
