Captioned on rear with NBC logo: "CHRIS WALLACE/'Today' Co-Anchor Based in Washington, D.C." Wallace, born in Chicago, Illinois, is an Emmy and Peabody Award-winning American journalist. The son of TV journalist Mike Wallace, he has won three Emmy Awards and a Peabody Award for his reportage and has interviewed Presidents George H. W. Bush, Bill Clinton and George W. Bush, as well as Vice President Dick Cheney, Secretary of States Colin Powell and Condoleeza Rice, former Mexican president Vincente Fox and Senators Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. Wallace broke into reporting at WHRB, the student radio station at Harvard College, where he was arrested while covered the 1969 student occupation of University Hall and signed off a report from the Cambridge City Jail. He joined the staff of the Boston Globe in 1972 and at the NBC television network in 1975, where he served as Washington co-anchor of The Today Show in 1982 and chief White House correspondent from 1982 to 1989, among other duties. Wallace left for ABC in 1989, where he was senior correspondent for Primetime Thursday and reported on Scud missile attacks from Tel Aviv during the first Gulf War. Wallace joined FOX News Channel in 2003, where he currently hosts FOX News Sunday as of this biography. Lightly creased and bowed. Light impressions on image (not visible head-on).
