Publicity photo from Yorkshire Television for the British sitcom In Loving Memory, in which Beeny played Billy Henshaw. British actor Beeny, born in 1941, is probably best known as Edward the servant from the British costume drama Upstairs, Downstairs (1971-1975). He started acting when he was a child and appeared in his first movie, The Long Memory, in 1952. He's appeared in almost 30 movies and TV shows since then, with recurring roles as Lennie Grove in England's first homebrewed TV soap opera The Grove Family (1954-1957), Geoffrey in Miss Jones and Son (1977-1978), Tony in The Rage Trade (1977-1978), Billy Henshaw in In Loving Memory (1979-1986) and Morton in Last of the Summer Wine (2001-2009). Lightly toned and bowed, otherwise in fine condition.
