CHUCK BERRYSigned front cover of his album, Chuck Berry Live at Fillmore Auditorium Record Album Cover signed: "C B". 12¼x12¼. Record included. His LP album, Chuck Berry Live at Fillmore Auditorium (1968). Chuck Berry (1926-2017) is credited with writing the songs and creating the instrumentals that shaped rock and roll - and for setting the standard for live stage performances. Known for such hits as "Maybellene", "Roll Over Beethoven", "Johnny B. Goode" and "Rock and Roll Music", Berry began starring in stage extravaganzas in New York City early in his career and continued to delight live audiences with his showmanship and rock and roll shows in his 80s. He was a chartermember of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (1986). When the "British invasion" had eclipsed many earlier American rock and pop stars, Chuck Berry was still going strong, as this blues-oriented recording from a 1967 concert in San Francisco (accompanied by the Steve Miller Band) demonstrated. Corners and edges lightly creased and chipped. Otherwise, fine condition.
