1990 CINCINNATI REDS: TOM BROWNING and BILL DORANBaseball signed by two-time Cy Young Award winner Tom Browning and second baseman Bill Doran. Both were members of the Cincinnati Reds' 1990 championship roster. Baseball signed "Tom Browning" and "Bill Doran". 2½-inch diameter. Rawlings Official National League Ball with William D. White facsimile signature. BROWNING, born Thomas Leo Browning in 1960, pitched in the majors from 1984 to 1995, mostly with the Cincinnati Reds. Browning had three seasons with 15 wins or more (1988-1991) and a 20-win season his official rookie year of 1985. He was also the winning pitcher in Game Three of the Reds' World Series sweep of the Oakland Athletics in 1990 and appeared on the 1991 All-Star Team. But he'll probably be best remembered for his perfect game against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sept. 16, 1988. Second baseman DORAN, born William Donald Doran in 1958, played in the bigs from 1982 to 1993, mostly with the Houston Astros. During his career, he placed in the National League Top 10 for runs scored (1984 and 1986), hits (1987), singles (1987), triples (1984), bases on balls (1983, 1986, 1987 and 1990), stolen bases (1986) and sacrifice flies (1987). Doran was also a part of the Cincinnati Reds' 1990 championship roster, although he didn't play in the series. Heavily soiled and stained, with numerous scratches and scuff marks. Browning's signature is lightly faded in places but is legible. Otherwise in fine condition.
