struggled under manager Russ Nixon in 1983 (They would bounce back the next year with
Pete Rose at the helm.) when most of these signers played for the Reds. However, the ball also
contains some signers here from the 1970s glory days of the "Big Red Machine": Hall of
Fame catcher JOHNNY BENCH, classy shortstop DAVE CONCEPCION, and first
baseman DAN DRIESSEN have all signed. Slight haloeing of ink of several signatures, but all
remain quite legible. Some sparse ink smudging. Otherwise, fine condition
