lower margin. After winning the title of "The Most Beautiful Girl in
Tunisia" (1958), Claudia Cardinale (born in Tunis in 1939) embarked upon a
film career. Touted as Italy's answer to Brigitte Bardot, Cardinale was
both a sex goddess and a capable actress. She worked mainly in Europe, appearing
in the films of several of that continent's most celebrated directors (Abel
Gance, Federico Fellini, Werner Herzog). Her U.S. popularity peaked with several
films of the 1960s: Circus World (1964), The Pink Panther (1965),
The Professionals (1966) and Once Upon a Time In the West (1968).
Cardinale has also appeared in the TV miniseries Jesus of Nazereth (1977)
and Princess Daisy (1983). Slightly soiled at blank margins. Fine
condition.
