Signed at the Cleveland National 2004 and 64 Browns reunion 2005 November
16. Each image depicts a player in a different stance, all in their
uniforms. The 1964 Browns upset the heavily favored Johnny Unitas and
Baltimore Colts star studded lineup. With home field advantage the browns
held the Unitas's offense to a 0-0 score at halftime. In the second half
Cleveland scored 27 unanswered points to a 27-0 victory for the Browns. This was
their fourth and most recent NFL championship. Included here are four members
of football's Hall of Fame: JIM BROWN, generally considered the greatest
running back of all time and kick return man LEROY KELLY. FRANK RYAN was
the quarterback. GARY COLLINS was MVP of the NFL championship game,
scoring three touchdowns in the Browns' rout of the Colts. The Cleveland
Browns formed in 1946 and won all four championships of the All-America
Football Conference (1946-1950). They also won four championships in the
successor National Football League. The original Browns franchise moved to
Baltimore in 1996, becoming the Ravens, but a new Browns team took the field for
Cleveland, beginning in 1999. Lightly creased. Fine condition.
