Photocopy signed in ink: "Clint Frank". B/w, 8½x11. His ink signature
beside a photocopied cartoon featuring him as "Big Boy Blue", and news article
titled "Yale's Great Clint Frank Sparkles as Grid Genius". Clint Frank
(1915-1992), a halfback at Yale, won the Heisman Trophy and the Maxwell Award
in 1937. (Runner-up for the Heisman that year was future US Supreme Court
Justice Byron "Whizzer" White.) As a lieutenant colonel in the Army Air Force
during World War II, Frank served as an aide to General Jimmy Doolittle.
After the war he founded and ran a Chicago-based advertising firm. Two
horizontal fold creases. Fine condition.
