(b. 1929) was an actor who first rose to prominence after appearing as Uriah Heep in the
1966 BBC production of David Copperfield. Throughout the 1960s and 1970s, Jeavons
snagged minor roles in several British television programs and even briefly hosted the children's
program Play School (1964-1988). A few of the feature films he appeared in include The
French Lieutenant's Woman (1981), Bartleby (1970), and Absolute Beginners (1986).
Jeavons also played the role of Tim Stamper in the British mini-series House of Cards
(1990). Fine condition.
