Program signed: "Buzz Aldrin," "Titov" in Russian, "Manukian" in Russian, and "Gordon C. Morison" on separate unattached 7½x7½ page listing speakers and honored guests at the 1989 World Stamp Expo held in Washington D.C. Postmarked Washington, D.C., November 24, 1989, FIRST DAY OF ISSUE. The souvenir sheet of four 45¢ stamps depicting postal vehicles of the future, is on an 8x8 page of the booklet. BUZZ ALDRIN (b.1930), aboard the first manned lunar landing mission - Apollo 11, July 16-24, 1969 - walked on the Moon. Soviet cosmonaut GHERMAN TITOV (1935-2000) made the world's first multi-orbital flight aboard Vostok 2, August 6, 1961. He orbited the Earth 17 times, spending 25 hours 18 minutes in space, making it the first flight of more than one day. LEVON K. MANUKIAN was the Director of the Stamp Issuing and Marketing Bureau of the U.S.S.R. Ministry of Communications. GORDON C. MORISON was Assistant Postmaster General. Fine condition.
