Program signed: "Gordon Cooper", in black felt tip, 16 pages, 8x10½. Manned Space Craft Center. Houston, Texas. Gemini 5 Flight. Gordon Cooper (1927-2004) was one of the original seven astronauts (1959). He orbited the Earth 22 times aboard his Faith 7 Mercury space capsule in 1963. In 1965, he was the command pilot of Gemini 5, which proved that men could remain in space long enough to travel to the moon and back. He left the Air Force as a Colonel in 1970 to start his own aerospace consulting firm. Corners lightly creased. Fine condition.
