Autograph note on printed photograph signed in ink: "To Art
Siemien/Best wishes to/you and your/future./Jack Lousma". 8x10. Jack
Lousma (b. 1936), an aeronautical engineer and Marine recon pilot, became an
astronaut in 1966. He was scheduled to land on the moon with Apollo 20, which
was cancelled, but he was the pilot of Skylab-3 (1973), performing 11 hours
of space walk on that mission. In March 1982, Lousma flew the space
shuttle on its final orbital test flight. In 1984 Lousma, a Republican,
narrowly lost a bid for a US Senate seat from Michigan. Fine
condition.
