6½x3½. Cacheted: "Wind Tunnel Testing/SSV/Ames Research Center" picturing the
space shuttle, 15-cent George M. Cohan stamp affixed, postmarked Moffett
Field, CA August 24, 1978. Colonel Blaha flew on four space shuttle missions
(1988-1993), as pilot on Discovery STS-29 and Discovery STS-33 and
spacecraft commander on Atlantis STS-43 and Columbia STS-58. From
1996-1997, Blaha served on the Russian Mir-22 as board engineer 2 and was
a mission specialist on STS-79 (going to Mir) and STS-81 (returning).
