Commemorative Envelope Signed: "Tom Henricks" 6½x3½. Space Cover postmarked Moffett Field, CA, August 24, 1978. Rubber stamped cachet picturing the space shuttle titled: "Wind Tunnel Testing/ SSV/ Ames Research Center". Astronaut Terence “Tom” Henricks (b.1952) served in the U.S. Air Force, during which time he logged over 6,000 hours of flying time and flew over 30 different types of aircraft. After becoming a NASA astronaut in 1986, he flew aboard Atlantis STS-44 (1991) and was the pilot of Columbia STS-55 (1993). He also commanded Discovery STS-70 (1995) and Columbia STS-78 (1996).
