The Royal Navy scientist and Skynet project engineer signs this 3½x3½ white envelope
Envelope signed: "Peter Longhurst", 6½x3½. Peter Longhurst (1943-2010), a Commander in the Royal Navy and an engineer, was selected for the Skynet program, a UK military communications satellite system, in 1984 and assigned for a Shuttle deployment mission in 1987, but he left the program before making a spaceflight. He died in Somerset, in his native England. Fine condition.
