B/w, 9½x7½. As a young actress, Constance Towers (b. 1933)
specialized in playing tough women. She starred in two late Westerns of director
John Ford, The Horse Soldiers (1959) and Sergeant Rutledge (1960).
Other starring film roles included Shock Corridor (1963) and The Naked
Kiss (1965). She made her Broadway debut in the title role in Anya
(1965) and has often performed in touring revivals of popular musicals. Her TV
acting has included roles in the series Capitol (1982-1987) and
General Hospital (1997-2002). Married since 1974 to actor turned diplomat
John Gavin, she founded Project Connie (1985) to care for orphans in Mexico and
El Salvador. Corners creased. Otherwise, fine condition.
