Newspaper photograph signed: "Craig/Ramsay" in blue felt. 3¾x4¾. Craig Ramsay (b. 1951)
played all fifteen seasons of his NHL career with the Buffalo Sabres. Out of all fifteen
seasons, Ramsay only had one season (his rookie year) when he played less than 60
games. As one of the Sabres most electrifying starters, Ramsay played 1070 games, scoring
252 goals and aiding in 420 assists. He played in the 1976 NHL All-Star games, and he is
the recipient of the 1984-85 NHL Frank J. Selke Trophy. After he retired, Ramsay began
coaching for the Sabres (1986-87), the Florida Panthers (1992-95), the Ottawa Senators
(1995-1997), the Philidelphia Flyers (1997-2000), and the Tampa Bay Lightning-the team
he won his first Stanley Cup with in 2004 as assistant head coach. Ramsay, after coaching
consecutive winning seasons with the Boston Bruins, coached for the Atlanta Thrashers but
moved to the Florida Panthers in 2010. Lightly toned. Edges irregular. Pencil note
(unknown hand) on verso. Otherwise, fine condition.
