CROSBY, STILLS and NASH: STEPHEN STILLS. Pick Guard signed: "Stephen Stills", irregular 9½x9. White Stratocaster guitar pick guard signed in blue felt tip. Guitarist/songwriter Stephen Stills was co-founder of the short-lived but legendary rock band Buffalo Springfield (1966-1968), penning the group's first hit, "For What It's Worth." In 1969 he joined David Crosby and Graham Nash, and soon after with Neil Young, to form the group most closely identified with the political upheavals of the era, including such songs as "Ohio", "Teach Your Children" and "Almost Cut My Hair." The band was always loosely structured so that the members could perform solo, and Stills promptly scored a hit of his own, "Love the One You're With" (1970). Fine condition.
