Jurgens' (born Curd Jürgens, 1915-1982) promising career in German films was
interrupted when the Nazis sent him to a concentration camp (1944). After
the war, Jurgens emerged as a popular international star. Among his films
best known in America are The Devil's General (1955), And God Created
Woman (1956), The Enemy Below (1957), The Inn of the Sixth
Happiness (1958), Lord Jim (1965) and The Spy Who Loved Me
(1977). Pinhead sized stain in upper left corner, chipped in upper right.
Mounting tape remnant in lower left. Inscription slightly beaded, but legible.
