Curt Jurgens' (born Curd Jürgens, 1915-1982) promising career in German
films was interrupted when the Nazis sent him to a concentration camp
(1944). After the war, Jurgens (1915-1982) emerged as a popular
international star. Among his films best known in America are The Devil's
General (1955), And God Created Woman (1956), The Enemy Below
(1957), The Inn of the Sixth Happiness (1958), Lord Jim (1965) and
The Spy Who Loved Me (1977). Worn at edges. Slightly soiled. Ink
notes (unknown hand) on verso. Otherwise, fine condition.
