Printed card signed in ink: "Cyrus Vance", 5x3 card with printed frame around signature. Cyrus Vance (1917-2002) was Secretary of the Army (1962-1964), Deputy Secretary of Defense (1964-1967) and Secretary of State (1977-1980), resigning the latter post because of disagreements with President Carter over the failed attempt to rescue the U.S. hostages in Iran. He conducted many important diplomatic missions for President Johnson, including participation in the Paris Peace Conference on Vietnam (1968-1969), and for President Clinton in Bosnia. Corners slightly worn. Slightly toned. Fine condition.
