Sale Price $108.00
He signs an Outer Limits trading card for the series' top-rated episode, "Specimen Unknown", which featured Coleman in the opening sequence.
Trading Card signed: "Dabney/Coleman". B/w image, although card has some color, 3½x2½. The Outer Limits trading card #36 (1997), showing Coleman in a scene from the series' highest rated episode, "Specimen Unknown" (originally broadcast February 24, 1964). Dabney Coleman (b. 1932) specialized in secondary character roles that were not outright villains, but somehow lacking in leading-man integrity. The first inkling that he could handle comedy occurred during his supporting stint on the TV sitcom That Girl. In 1976, Coleman was cast on TV's soap opera spoof Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman. Four years later, he burst forth in full hissable glory as the nasty, chauvinistic boss in 9 to 5 (1980); and subsequently co-starred in On Golden Pond (1981) and The Beverly Hillbillies (1993). Coleman starred in the ground-breaking sitcom Buffalo Bill (1983), playing TV's first thoroughly, unremittingly despicable "hero" and winning a nomination for a Best Actor Emmy. Edges and corners lightly worn. Fine condition.
