Boston Red Sox (size 60), signed in the "1" of his "18" sewn on the back. Daisuke Matsuzaka
(b. 1980) starred as a high school pitcher, and then in the Pacific League (1999-2006) of his
native Japan before joining the Boston Red Sox in 2007. He was named MVP of both of the
first two World Baseball Championships (2006, 2009), going 3-0 and leading his team to
victory each time. Called "Dice-K" by Red Sox fans, Matsuzaka, who features a wide variety of
pitches, won 33 games in his first two seasons in the US, but has been slowed by injuries since.
Accompanied by JSA Certificate of Authenticity (B63797) and authentication sticker attached
to jersey. Fine condition.
