Peggy Ashcroft
, Richard Attenborough, Owen Nares and Douglas Montgomery sign an album leaf.
Signatures: "Peggy Ashcroft", "Richard Attenborough" and, on verso, "Yours sincerely/Owen Nares" and "Douglas Montgomery", 4¾x4 album leaf. Dame PEGGY ASHCROFT won the 1985 Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for A Passage to India. Sir RICHARD ATTENBOROUGH won 1983 Academy Awards for Best Director and Best Picture for Gandhi. OWEN NARES (1887-1943) played the leads in many silent films then became a character actor. DOUGLAS MONTGOMERY (1907-1966) played leads in Hollywood in the 1930s and in British films in the 1940s. Lightly creased, lightly soiled. Fine condition.
