Document signed: "Dan Dailey", 2 pages, 2½x11. Beverly Hills, California, 1951 April 27. Dailey signs his agreement to a letter of understanding from Twentieth Century-Fox Film Corporation granting him permission to appear on a Hollywood Star Playhouse radio program, provided that the program will announce: "Tonight's appearance of Dan Dailey was made possible through the kind permission of Twentieth Century-Fox Studios, who are currently presenting Mr. Dailey in 'I CAN GET IT FOR YOU WHOLESALE'." Actor and dancer Dan Dailey (1917-1978) moved from vaudeville to Broadway (Babes in Arms, 1937) to Hollywood. Recipient of a Best Actor Oscar nomination for When My Baby Smiles at Me (1948), he also appeared in such films as Meet Me at the Fair (1952), The Pride of St. Louis (as pitcher Dizzy Dean, 1952) and It's Always Fair Weather (1955). Dailey was seen on television in such series as The Governor and J.J. (1969). Lightly creased. Staple holes and paperclip impression in upper left. Otherwise, fine condition.
