March 4, 1886. Daniel Ermentrout (1837-1899) was a United States
Representative from Pennsylvania. After opening a law prating in Reading,
Pennsylvania, he was elected district attorney (1862-1865), going on to other
local political offices such as solicitor for the city (1867-1870), member of
the board of school control (1868-1876), a member of the Pennsylvania State
Senate (1873-1880). Ermentrout was elected to the U.S. House of
Representatives in 1880, and would go on to serve four terms. Left edge
frayed. Toned. Small stains throughout. Edges and corners soiled. Otherwise,
fine condition.
