1969 June 10. On company letterhead to Ken Browne, Mesa, Arizona. In
full: "Thank you for your letter of May 30th. I appreciate your kind
words, and enclose herewith a signed photo [not included], taken last
summer in France. Sincerely yours". Producer Darryl F. Zanuck (1902-1979)
won Academy Awards for Best Picture in 1942 (How Green Was My Valley),
1948 (Gentleman's Agreement) and 1951 (All About Eve). First
at Warner Bros. and then as co-founder of 20th Century-Fox, Zanuck was a
major force in the U.S. film industry for nearly half a century. Lightly
creased. Two ¼-inch tears at center of right edge. Otherwise, fine
condition.
