American actor Darwood Kaye (1929-2002) was born Darwood Kenneth Smith in
Fort Collins, Colorado. After debuting in the 1937 Our Gang film Glove
Taps, he became a regular character in the film series. He played "Waldo"
a competitor for the affection of Darla Hood in over twenty Our Gang films
between 1937 and 1940. Later in life, he became a Minister in the Seventh
Day Adventist Church. Fine condition.
