Sports Card Signed: “Dave Giusti”. 2½x3½. Statistics and biography on verso. Dave Giusti (b. 1939) played for several teams during his 15-season career, splitting most of his time between the Houston Astros (1962, 1964-1968) and the Pittsburgh Pirates (1970-1976). The Astros experimented with him in their starting rotation; he proved a reliable innings-eater for the team, pitching over 200 innings in three seasons straight, including a career-high 251 innings in 1968. Pittsburgh completed a transition to a bullpen role that was begun by the St. Louis Cardinals in 1969. In 1973, he earned his first All-Star nod after posting a 2.37 ERA in over 98 innings. Lightly worn at corners. Otherwise, fine condition.
