image 10¼x7¼ (one surface). Promotion for the 1980 Western, The Long Riders, which
starred Carradine as Cole Younger. The film, a retelling of the James-Younger legend,
starred four sets of brothers: David's brothers, Keith and Robert, starred as Jim and Bob
Younger; Stacy and James Keach co-starred as Frank and Jesse James; Dennis and Randy
Quaid portrayed Ed and Clell Miller; and, Christopher and Nicholas Guest were Charlie and
Bob Ford. ©1980, United Artists Corporation. The son of actor John Carradine, David
Carradine is best known as the Chinese-American Shaolin monk Caine in TV's Kung Fu
(1972-1975 and syndicated again in the 1990s). Carradine, who had a strong interest in the
Asian martial arts and the philosophy behind them, produced action films, two exercise videos
and a book, Spirit of Shaolin, on the subject. He also earned critical acclaim for his portrayal
of Woody Guthrie in the film Bound for Glory (1976). Creased at corners, diagonal surface
crease at lower left background. Minor surface creases (most not evident head on), not at
signature. Overall, fine condition.
