Boren (b. 1941) is a member of the politically active Boren family: his father was a congressman for Oklahoma's 4th District from 1937-1947, while his son Dan Boren represented the 2nd District in the same capacity from 2005-2013.A Rhodes Scholar, Boren practiced law in Oklahoma before beginning his political career in the Oklahoma State House of Representatives (1967-1975). He then served as Governor of Oklahoma (1975-1979) before being elected to the U.S. Senate (1979-1994). Boren has been President of the University of Oklahoma since 1994. Lightly creased with folds, not at signature. Staple holes at upper left margin, date stamp at upper right margin. Fine condition.
