Advertisement promoting the movie Moonfire. Dayton Lummis (1903-1988) was an American actor who debuted on Broadway in 1944. He appeared in several productions on the biggest stages in New York City, with his last Broadway performance coming in 1950. Throughout the 1950s and 1960s, Lummis earned dozens of credits as a guest on television shows and in films. Perhaps his most famous film credits are The Wrong Man (1956), Julius Caesar (1953), and Jack the Giant Killer (1962). In 1959, he began starring as Marshal Andy Morrison in Law of the Plainsman (1959-1960). Corners and edges gently worn. Otherwise, fine condition.
