In full: "I am glad to send along five autographed pictures [not present] in response to your letter of November 5. Kennedy. With personal best wishes. Sincerely," Dean Rusk (1909-1994) served as Secretary of State throughout the JFK and LBJ administrations, January 20, 1961 to January 20, 1969. Rusk supported U.S. involvement in the Vietnam War. Slightly creased. Mounting remnant on verso, light show through at upper blank edge. Fine condition.
