Autograph manuscript signed: "Denise Pence" in pink felt tip. 1 page, 8x5. In full: "Early training in ballet led me easily into the world of Broadway "gypsy" where I did three shows "The Rothschilds", "Follies", + "Pippin"", and had the privilege of being the original prototype for the creation of "Kristine", the girl who couldn't "SING" in "A Chorus Line". From there an audition for "The Guiding Light" led me into the world of soaps and audiences have watched me start my own family wit the birth of my 2 daughters, Jolan age 4 and Brette age one. No telling where I go from here - ". Actress Denise Pence began her career on Broadway as a gypsy dancer in The Rothschilds (1970) and Pippin (1972); furthermore, she and her husband Steve Boockvor were inspirations for the characters "Al" and "Kirstine" in the Broadway hit A Chorus Line. Pence's most famous role, however, is as Katie Parker, R.N. on the soap opera Guiding Light (1977-1985). Pence has also worked as a producer for projects such as VintAGE: Celebrating Women Artists Over 40 and Union Women @ Work. Ink smeared and bleeding. Toned. Otherwise, fine condition.
