DENNIS "BOSE" BIDDLE
The Negro League star pitcher signs his name in blue ink
Printed card signed in ink: "Dennis "Bose" Biddle" in blue ink. 5x3 printed card signed. Dennis "Bose" Biddle (b. 1935) is a former Negro League baseball pitcher, most famously known as the "Man Who Beat the Man Who Beat the Man" when during his first season he beat pitcher Lefty McKinnis, one of the few pitchers who ever defeated the legendary Satchel Paige. He played for the Chicago American Giants (1953-1954) at the age of seventeen after being drafted out of high school, and is considered the youngest surviving Negro Leagues player. Corners rounded. Lightly toned. Small ink stains throughout. Otherwise, fine condition.
