Document signed: "Dennis Day", 1p, 8x10. Form letter with individually typed address to 20th Century-Fox, Los Angeles, 1951 April 9, informing recipient that Day has authorized Famous Artists Corporation to accept checks and sums of money on his behalf. New York-born Irish tenor Day (1916-1988) hosted his own radio show (1946-1954). He was closely linked with Jack Benny in films, radio and television, using his trademark phrase "Gee, Mr. Benny." He sang for animated films, including Johnny Appleseed (1948). Slightly creased. Horizontal fold touches both "D"s in signature. Pencil note (unknown hand) in lower right. Otherwise, fine condition.
