Comprises: (1) Partly Printed Check signed: "Lucille Ball Arnaz", 8¼x3. Hollywood, California, 1955 February 21. Drawn on her joint account with Desi Arnaz at the Bank of America, payable to Hazel Pierce for $4.22. Cancellation holes just nick the "L". Light show through of bank stamp on verso (not at signature). Fine condition. (2) Partly Printed Check signed: "Desi Arnaz", 8x3. Hollywood, California, 1954 August 16. Drawn on his personal account at the California Bank, payable to George J. Meachem for $19.71. Cancellation holes, not at signature. Top of the "D" touches printed amount, light bank stamp touches the "az". Fine condition. Both checks countersigned: "Andrew G. Hickox". Each check was signed during the filming of I Love Lucy (1951-1957). Lucy and Desi pioneered the three-camera technique, now the standard in filming TV sitcoms, and the concept of syndicating TV programs. Matted together, not in the Gallery of History style, overall size 12x19. Not reviewed by us for conservation integrity. "As is" matting purchase.
