in Purton, Great Britain in 1928) is a zoologist and ethnologist who's
courted controversy for his observations of human behavior. Morris first
came into the public eye as a presenter on the British television show Zoo
Time (1956), and has since appeared in several TV shows as a presenter or
narrator (not to mention sharing an Emmy nomination for his 1997 documentary
series The Human Sexes). However, he gained fame for his book
The Naked Ape (1967), with its controversial comparisons of human and
animal behavior. Morris has since written books that analyze human gestures
and body language. Lightly toned, soiled and bowed. Random ink stains. Light
scratches on image (not visible head on). Otherwise in fine
condition.
