Show Bill signed: "Jon DeVries," and "Stephen Joyce," "Jill Andre," "Sarah Inglis," "Gloria Maddox," "Kevin O'Connor," and "James Ray Weeks."  all in blue felt tip on title page, 110p, 5¾x9. Devour the Snow portrays the story of the Donner Party survivors who travelled across America and were trapped in the Sierra Nevada during the winter of 1847. Written by Abe Polsky and directed by Terry Schreiber, Devour the Snow premiered November 7, 1979 at the John Golden Theatre, closing that same weekend with 5 performances total. JON DEVRIES (b.1947) is an American film, stage, and television actor, appearing in popular movies such as American Gangster (2007) and The International (2009).  He also has made several television appearances on Law and Order (1998), Bluebloods (2011), and Boardwalk Empire (2011).  Actor STEPHEN JOYCE (b.1933) has appeared in television, film and on stage since the 1950s, working on classics such as Alfred Hitchcock Presents (1957), Bonanza (1961), and Rawhide (1959-1961).  His stage appearances include The Legend of Lizzie (1959), Julius Caesar (1950), and The School for Wives (1971). JILL ANDRE (b.1935) has been acting since the 1950's, appearing mostly in television shows, such as the Adam's Family (1965), All My Children (1979), Dallas (1986) and Castle (2009).  Her most recent films include Not Dead Yet (2009), The Runaways (2010) and The Master (2012). SARAH INGLIS, who was a child actress when she played Georgia Donner in this play, performed in one other play, including The Real Thing (1984-1985) which was her longest running performance on stage. In the 1980's she worked mainly on films and T.V. movies, such as Smooth Talk (1985) and My Two Loves (1986). Cast as Margaret Reed in this play, GLORIA MADDOX (d. 1998) worked in one other play, the Cherry Orchard (1977), and appeared in two films, The Risk (1994) and Danny (1977).  Following her death in 1998, the Terry Schreiber, director of Devour the Snow, helped establish the Gloria Maddox Theatre in New York City in honor of her work as an actress and theatre teacher. Although KEVIN O'CONNOR (1938-1991) only had one other Broadway appearance (Gloria and Esperanza in 1970), his stage career was extensive and he regular performed with the La Mama theatre company for roughly two decades. Moreover, he was in a handful of TV movies and landed guest spots on TV shows such as Hawaii Five-O (1968-1980) from 1977 to 1979 and Tales from the Darkside (1983-1988) in 1986. In addition to acting, O'Connor has both directed and produced several stage productions. He also taught drama at St. Francis College, Hunter College, and New York University. Actor JAMES RAY WEEKS' (b. 1942) most popular films include Analyze This (1999), Buffalo Soldiers (2001), and Requiem for a Dream (2001). He has also appeared in the original Miami Vice (1984-1990) from 1984 to 1987 and Quantum Leap (1989-1993) in 1990. Toned. Edges lightly worn. Signing page creased. Otherwise, fine condition.
