DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER MOVIE CAST: MARC LAWRENCE, LANA WOOD and SID HAIG Lawrence, Wood and Haig sign a color publicity photo from their Bond classic Diamonds Are Forever Photograph signed: "Marc Lawrence", "Lana Wood/as/'Plenty O' Toole'" in/DAR--1971", and "Sid Haig". Color, 10x8. Still from the 1971 Bond adventure Diamonds Are Forever, starring Sean Connery. Lawrence and Haig were cast as Slumber Inc.'s henchmen, and Wood portrayed the role of the sultry Plenty O' Toole. Character actor MARC LAWRENCE (1910-2005), who is best known for playing sinister characters, portrayed saddle tramp Farnley in The Ox-Bow Incident, a 1943 20th Century-Fox Western directed by William Wellman that starred Henry Fonda, Dana Andrews and Anthony Quinn. Although the film lost money at the box office, it has increased in stature over the years. The other memorable films of Lawrence, who made his movie debut in 1932, include G-Men (1935), The Shepherd of the Hills (1941), This Gun for Hire (1942), Dillinger (1945), Captain from Castille (1947, his favorite role), Key Largo (1948), The Asphalt Jungle (1950), David and Lisa (1962), Marathon Man (1976) and The Big Easy (1987). The former stage actor has also appeared in made-for-TV movies and guest starred on a long list of TV series, from Wagon Train (1958) to Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (1999). LANA WOOD (b. 1946), the younger sister of actress Natalie Wood, made her film debut at age ten as her sister as a child in the 1956 film, The Searchers. Wood has appeared in a number of feature films and made-for-TV movies and was a regular on a number of TV series, including The Long Hot Summer (1965), Peyton Place (1966-1967), O'Hara U.S. Treasury (1971) and Capitol (1983). SID HAIG (1949-2019) has haunted the silver screen for over 50 years. With his tall, menacing stature and sinister appetite for guts and gore, Haig has appeared no less than 130 films including The Devil's Rejects (2005), The Inflicted (2012) and House of 1000 Corpses (2003). While he is casted primarily in horrors or thrillers, Haig has earned roles in action adventures as well, such as Kill Bill Volume 2 (2004) and Jackie Brown (1997). Most recently he appeared in Hatchet III (2013) and Razor (2013). Ink note (unknown hand) on verso. Fine condition.
